For years halogen incandescent lighting has been the standard for fountain lighting, but many of the new fixtures we sell now are LED. Early LED lighting wasn’t the best for fountain applications, but bulb and fixture designs have improved substantially and are more energy efficient than incandescent, with a longer life. Many fountain owners are now having their systems retrofit to LED by us to save energy and re-lamping expense.

Additionally, the low energy requirement of LEDs works well with low-voltage control systems, and you can even get programmable color-changing controls for your fountain lighting!

Aqua Control Fountain Lighting

For basic 1-5 HP floating fountains and display aerators, Aqua Control’s 300W incandescent lighting package is a great place to start. Available in copper or stainless steel fixtures, these systems are available with 2- 4 lights, and colored lenses (for use with copper fixtures only).

AquaMaster Fountain Lighting

AquaMaster’s basic stainless steel LED fountain lighting systems are available with 11W, 22W, and 35W LED lights (equivalent to a 500W incandescent!). Systems are available for 120 or 220vac application. AquaMaster also offers a programmable, color-changing LED fountain lighting system (20W and 40W) that can be programmed for different “shows” to run at different times, and even set holiday schedules. Kasco Marine Lighting

Kasco offers multiple LED systems. Their base 3- and 6-light kits for Model J, VFX and VF Aerators are available in composite (11W bulbs) or stainless steel (19W) housings to match your fountain, and each comes standard with red, blue, amber and green interchangeable lenses for color variation.

Their Waterglow RGB LED Lighting, designed for their Model J, VFX, or xStream fountains, can create 9 different colors, and not only has the ability to control lighting levels and run three different sequencing patterns, it can sequence lighting patterns to music! Additionally, universal fit systems are available with 5, 11 and 19-watt LED lights in 4-light packages, using composite housings, for retrofit to almost any fountain.

J&J Commercial Fountain Lighting

For custom and heavier commercial applications, Lone Star Fountains offers the J&J line of LED fountain luminaires in white, or multiple colors with ColorSplash® color-changing luminaires. These fountain luminaires are available in stamped stainless steel, or in cast 316 stainless or bronze for fountains, ponds, reflection pools and other water feature environments used in larger installations.

Fixtures are IP68-rated and available in 120VAC or 12VDC versions. All color-changing LED fountain luminaires come pre-programmed with 7 light shows, multiple color blends and 5 solid colors. They create the ideal setting for any underwater or wet/dry environment, with lower maintenance and energy costs compared to traditional light sources.
